A little perspective, between conversations.

When I sold my company 3 years ago, I had no idea I’d end up building a business around coffee, walks, and conversations with other entrepreneurs. But I realized I could take what I’d learned, use it to bring value to others, and build a business around the life I wanted. You don’t have to follow someone else’s definition of success. You can build something that works for you, too.

Unpopular opinion: Some business owners would be surprised how quickly their financial stress could ease if they scaled backwards and stopped worrying about what everyone else thinks. Less overhead. Less debt. Less pressure to look successful. Sometimes the quickest way to get ahead is to stop chasing more.

Some of y’all are making good money working for yourselves. But you’re exhausted, can’t take a vacation, and everything depends on you. What if growing your business isn’t the answer?

Some of y’all started a business to have more freedom. Now you’ve got more employees, more overhead, and less time for your family. Maybe it’s time to scale backwards.

You don’t have to quit your job. You don’t have to close your business. Some of y’all need to get your life back, not another full-time job. Your experience may be worth more than you realize.
