The partnership

A real relationship. A thoughtful perspective.

Private Business Partnership is an ongoing, paid professional relationship with me, Dalton. Someone who knows your business, understands your priorities, and is there to help you think.

Built around the owner

Not a program you fit into.
A relationship that fits you.

This is for established entrepreneurs and business owners who want another experienced owner to talk things through with. You may already have a strong business and capable professional advisors. You don't need someone to replace them.

You want perspective from someone who gets to know the whole picture: the people, the pressures, the opportunities, and the life you're building beyond the business.

See Who It's For

Perspective in practice

What having me in your corner actually looks like.

The value isn't coffee itself. It's having someone who knows the context, asks the question you may be avoiding, and helps you weigh a decision before you act. These are examples of conversations we could have, not client stories or promised results.

A difficult employee situation.

Someone you value isn't meeting expectations, and you've been putting off the conversation. We can separate what you've observed from what you're assuming, examine whether expectations were clear, and think through what needs to be said.

You leave with the questions and priorities for your next conversation. You manage your team; your attorney or HR professional advises on employment requirements.

An opportunity to expand.

A new location, market, or partnership looks promising. Before you say yes, we can challenge the assumptions, consider what it would ask of your team and your time, and compare it with strengthening what you already have.

We identify what you still need to learn and what would make the opportunity worth pursuing. You evaluate the numbers with your qualified advisors and make the call.

A company that depends on you.

Every approval, customer issue, and team question lands on your desk. We can look at where your judgment is genuinely needed, where responsibilities are unclear, and what you're holding onto out of habit.

We can choose one responsibility for you to clarify or delegate, then revisit what happened. You put changes into practice; I help you reflect and consider the next step.

We don't start over every time.

In an ongoing relationship, we can return to the decision: What did you try? What changed? What still needs your attention? That continuity makes room for honest follow-through, not just a useful conversation that gets lost in the week.

Bring what's on your mind.

Leadership & People

The right people, difficult conversations, and becoming the leader your business needs.

Important Decisions

A clear-headed sounding board for the choices that don't come with an obvious answer.

Business Opportunities

Another perspective on partnerships, new ventures, and what is worth your attention.

Growth & Simplification

Thoughtful growth, less complexity, and a business that doesn't depend on you for everything.

Time & Priorities

Sorting through what matters, what can wait, and where your energy is best spent.

The Life Beyond the Business

Making room for family, freedom, and the life you're working so hard to build.

Should you hire or restructure? Pursue a partnership? Address a difficult leadership situation? Start something new? We can slow down, look at the trade-offs, and consider what you may be overlooking.

Conversations that continue.

The value grows as we get to know each other. You don't have to start from the beginning every time something changes.

Calls and text messages let us stay connected without filling your calendar. Occasionally, we might meet for coffee or take a walk locally. We agree on communication expectations, availability, and scope at the outset; this isn't unlimited or 24/7 access.

Perspective, not a takeover.

I listen, ask questions, share experience, challenge assumptions, and help you consider your options. I don't become your employee, operating executive, outsourced manager, or equity owner.

I don't implement projects, manage your staff, or run your business. This is not a legal business partnership, therapy, or legal, tax, investment, or financial advice. Your qualified professionals remain important.

I advise. You decide. You execute.

No business outcome is guaranteed.

A few natural questions

Before we talk.

Is this business coaching?

I don't offer a coaching curriculum, course, or preset program. This is a personal advisory relationship built around your real business, your decisions, and the priorities that matter to you.

Is this a networking group?

No. There is no group, membership community, or calendar of networking events. You work directly with me in an ongoing paid professional relationship.

Do you become involved in running my company?

No. I help you think things through, but I don't manage staff, implement projects, or take operational responsibility. You remain responsible for your decisions and execution.

Do we have to meet in person?

No. Most of the relationship can happen through calls and messages. Coffee or a walk is an occasional option when we both agree on a time, not an on-demand commitment.

What if my business operates outside Florida?

That's completely fine. The local connection is where you live, not where your company operates. Your team and customers may be anywhere.

How does the partnership begin?

Send an inquiry and tell me a little about yourself. We get acquainted, talk about what you're looking for, and decide whether it feels like a good mutual fit. Scope, communication expectations, and fees are agreed before an engagement begins.

Is this a paid relationship?

Yes. Private Business Partnership is an ongoing paid professional service. Fees are discussed privately based on the relationship and scope, rather than published as a package.
